Joanna 1 Jewelry is the product of many years of education, hard work & life experience. Building upon an eclectic art-based background in illustration, computer art and art instruction, I have designed and created a unique product in jewelry. My interest in making usable, wearable art led me to explore the use of Precious Metal Clay as a medium.

Working primarily with Silver PMC I produced a line of jewelry that is high quality yet casual. My work is inspired by my love for animals, our natural environment as well as human spirituality. In a fast-paced age where so much is mass produced, I want to stress the value in the sanctity of the original. Each PMC piece is designed, hand-crafted & fired in my kiln by me, so no two pieces are identical. 

My goal is to get the message out that one must do what they love and love what they do. Joanna 1 Jewelry was born out of my belief that we are all “one.”  With that notion, I extend my love of the creative process to others through Joanna 1 Jewelry.

I live in Havertown, PA with my four children, two dogs and one cat.
